The Maharashtra International Film Festival India (MIFFI) is an international platform dedicated to recognizing and celebrating outstanding achievements in cinema from around the world. Our festival brings together filmmakers, producers, writers, actors, students, and cinema enthusiasts to showcase inspiring stories, innovative filmmaking, and diverse cultural perspectives.
MIFFI welcomes submissions from independent filmmakers as well as established professionals across all genres and languages. We believe that every great story deserves an audience, regardless of its budget, country of origin, or production scale.
Our mission is to promote artistic excellence, encourage emerging talent, and create meaningful opportunities for filmmakers to connect with audiences and industry professionals.
Selected films will be evaluated by an experienced jury based on originality, storytelling, direction, cinematography, editing, sound design, performances, and overall cinematic impact.
Official selections will receive screening opportunities during the festival, while winners will be honored with Official Laurels, Winner Certificates, and Special Awards across various categories.

1. Maharashtra World Film Festival India (MWFFI) accepts submissions from filmmakers across the world.
2. Films of all genres, languages, and production budgets are welcome.
3. Non-English language films must include English subtitles.
4. The submitter must own all necessary rights, including music, images, footage, and other copyrighted material
used in the film.
5. Films completed in any year are eligible unless otherwise specified in the category requirements.
6. All entries must be submitted through FilmFreeway.
7. Entry fees are non-refundable.
8. Multiple entries are permitted, but each film requires a separate submission and entry fee.
9. The festival reserves the right to reject incomplete submissions.
10. Official Selections will be notified via FilmFreeway.
11. The Festival Jury's decision is final and cannot be challenged.
12. The festival reserves the right to determine the final screening schedule.
13. Selected films may be screened during the festival event.
14. The festival may use film trailers, posters, still images, and up to 30 seconds of footage for promotional purposes.
15. By submitting, the applicant confirms they hold all legal rights required for festival exhibition.
16. The festival is not responsible for any copyright disputes arising from submitted content.
17. The festival reserves the right to amend the rules when necessary.
18. Submission to the festival constitutes acceptance of all Rules & Terms.
19. The festival organizers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the event due to circumstances beyond
their control.
20. Any legal disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Maharashtra, India.
